DSOA BAND 2014 PLAY-A-THON!

The annual DSOA BAND™ Play-A-Thon is a fundraiser. You are making a DONATION to the School of the Arts Foundation, Inc. on behalf of the Band Program, that may qualify as a charitable donation (Check with your tax professional for its tax benefits, if any.)  

Sit in on rehearsals, sectional break-outs, and listen to the band work with a guest conductor. It's a unique look at life "behind the scenes" of a working concert band. Free for DSOA Band students and their immediate families (with Pot Luck Dinner Item(s)). Parents and immediate family are FREE and do not need a ticket. A LIMITED NUMBER of people,  family, neighbors, alumni and friends of DSOA Band are welcome to donate and attend this event.  Only available ONLINE, in advance. There will be no donations at the door for additional guests.

The student musicians of the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Band program play to raise money that provides private instruction for students with the schools professional Artists in Residence for those who cannot afford it, keeps the Artists in Residence working at our public arts magnet high school,  and helps this GRAMMY® in the Schools nationally acclaimed band travel to some of the biggest competitions and conferences in the United States. 

You are being admitted as a guest of the DSOA BAND program's Parents Association. Your donation provides CONDITIONAL admission. You must follow all rules and guidelines of both the Palm Beach County School District and the DSOA BAND program while visiting the campus for this event. You will be auditing working sessions of the DSOA Wind Ensemble and the DSOA Symphonic Band, which is STANDING ROOM ONLY.  Person(s) causing any disruptions or disturbances to the rehearsal process, or while on campus, will be asked to leave and forfeit their admission to this event.
